Today, June 22, 2017, Bayside Hills Civic Association Beautification Committee member, Jay Koellner affixed the Bayside Hills lettering to the top of the clock. A plaque nearby indicates that the clock was erected in 1996 by the BHCA in commemoration of its 60th anniversary and dedicated to the memory of those residents who labored since 1936 to preserve the character and integrity of Bayside Hills.
